Oskar Schindler was a German industrialist and a member of the Nazi party. He was born on April 28, 1908.

Schindler is known and applauded for saving the lives of not less than 1,200 Jews at the time of the Holocaust.

Schindler employed these Jews in his ammunition and enamelware factories. The factories were located in the protectorate of Bohemia and Morovia and occupied Poland.

After the second world war (WW II), Schindler and his wife Emilie moved to settle in Germany (Regensburg). Lived there until 1949 they moved to Argentina.

In 1957, the couple parted ways, they didn’t divorce but we’re far from each other. Schindler went back to Germany his country of origin. He live there until and October 1974, Schindler passed on penniless (Germany).
